Herald the new moon (Happy New Year)
Hey Guys
How's it going? Thought I'd get a quick post in there before the year is out. I promise to work harder on my Wolves in the new year in fact it's on my list of things to do; bring my Space Wolf army up to 2000pts. I've also decided that 2010 is also going to be a year where Warhammer Fantasy Battles takes a bit of a back seat for me. Don't get me wrong still up for a game and the Bretonnians will be eager to meet anyone's challenge. But I feel that I need to focus on Lord of the Rings and Warhammer 40,000 a bit more. Who know's Flames of War might get a work out too! But as a special New Years Treat I'm putting up a pic of the Ragnar Blackmane I made from various wolf bitz both new and old, my land speeder typhoon and the first of my objective markers "The Book of Sagas" and to you fellow wolfers out there I put out a bit of a challenge; to make your own book of sagas and like sagas this also comes with an oath. The oath being that the book of sagas objective must be captured at all costs! Even if it means abandoning another objective to capture it. You can suggest to your opponent to make it worth two objectives to add a bit of weight. But anyway just thought I'd put it out there.
So I hope you've enjoyed this year's postings and my hobby so far. Again comments and feedback are always welcome and I wish each and everyone of you (especially my fellow wolf brothers) a very happy new year filled with awesome games and kick ass hobby!

The Saga of the Wolf Continues...
Hey guys
Sorry it's been a while since posts, but my camera has been out of action and I've been pretty busy at work with the lead up to Christmas. I've been doing a little bit more work on my wolves and I have to show you a picture of my Grey Hunter's Rhino and a Dreadnought. I hope you like them and any feedback is much appreciated. I do have a little bit of bad news I'm afraid. I entered my Wolf Priest into staff Golden Demon and he has not yet returned and further more no one seems to know where he is. But I do have a few people looking for him so hopefully he'll be found and this lost wolf will return to the pack.

Enter the Wolf
Hey Guys
Sorry it's been a while since I posted a blog on here. Been busy with a few things like work and my personal life. But never fear I have returned to the hobby world with more gusto and fight than before. As those of you who I have been in touch with will know I have undertaken a new challenge (Damn being a Bretonnian player at heart, you have to accept every challenge that comes your way!) and that challenge is Space Wolves. So far i've assembled over 500 pts worth of models. But I thought I'd show you my Wolf Priest which I'm doing for staff golden demon and my sky claws. I hope you like and as always your comments are most welcome.

Lightning Raid
Hey Guys
Just a quick post this time, been busy with a few things so hobby has kind of slowed a bit. But that doesn't mean its not on my mind. This week I managed to do a Marauder horseman as well as keep on going with my Marauders on foot. But anyway, I've chucked in a pic of the horseman so tell me what you think.

And the lord of change said "Let there be colour" and so it was.
Hey Hobbyist and True Believers
How's it going? Well I've got some progress on my chaos to report. So my Battle Standard Bearer is finished and looking awesome if I do say so myself. A big thanks to Caine and Rick for their hints and tips. I've also made a start on my warriors and as you can see I've gone for bases which are a red earth and to break it up I've decided to go with some green sludge (Ok a little bit Nurgle but hey at the end of the day we're all Chaos aren't we?). I'll have more to report soon hopefully but until then your thoughts and point's of views are welcomed.

Ive got standards yah know!
Well I didn't foresee doing a new post so soon. But here it is, the next addition to my army my Battle Standard Bearer. As you can see proudly showing his Tzeentch affiliation. I used the Crom the Conquerer model as a body and put some warriors of Chaos head and hands on him. The Tzeentch icon came from the Chaos Space Marines Squad box. I hope to have him painted up soon.

And so it begins...
Hey Guys
Well this is the first post as you can see on my latest hobby project: Tzeentch Warriors of Chaos. Now before we discuss this first unit I think a little explanation is warranted as to why I'm blogging this hobby project in the first place.
First off I decided to go with Tzeentch Warriors of Chaos because my last army was Bretonnians. Now those of you who are familiar with the tournament tier system that currently governs over Warhammer Fantasy Battle Tournaments will know that Bretonnians get a bit of a rough deal in army comp. So it occurred to me, a Tzeentch Warriors of Chaos army would have all the advantages of a Bretonnian army (The nasty combo of armour and ward saves) minus lance formations. But even so their combat prowess and magic would outweigh that of those poor Bretonnians.
Secondly Tzeentch Warriors of Chaos has been an army I've always wanted to do. Now when my old friend and HDM K-man got wind of what I was doing he challenged me to get them done for staff tournament which is set to take place in late October/ early November. So here I am with just under three months to do a 2250 point army! Better get cracking!
This first unit of Marauders are armed with great weapons, have a musician and the mark of Tzeentch. I've decided to go with this unit first so that I can have my small units built first to use in small practice skirmishes and it gives me easily achievable goals to ease me into the project. I gave them great weapons as later on they will serve as a flanking support unit for some Chaos Warriors in my tournament army. I achieved this by using the flails and replacing the chain and flail head with an axe blade or hammer head from other weapons.
I've also included in this post a pic of the first Warrior I did as a test scheme (Thanks Brendan for the volunteer model). Your thoughts and comments are most welcome as I progress through this project.
